Welcome!

Hi everyone,

Here's a place where we can all post recipes. I'll format them and make them pretty enough to publish once we have enough. On the right----> you'll see a list of recipes that i think should be added. Leave a comment, facebook, or email me if you want to add one to the list.

All you have to do to post a recipe is add it in the comments. I'll copy it and throw it into another post.

Love y'all!

Aubrey

  3. Chocolate Scotcharoos

    1 cup karo syrup
    1 cup sugar
    1 cu)p peanut butter
    6 cups rice crispies

Bring karo syrup and sugar just to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir in rice crispies. Press into buttered (or spray with pam) 9x13 pan. (I use a jelly roll pan for thinner bars.)

Melt 1 12oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 12oz bag of butterscotch chips in the microwave stirring often, or use a double boiler. When melted spread over crispies. Let cool and cut into squares.

  4. Stuffing
    5 qt.dry cubed bread
    2 large onions chopped
    2 stalks celery chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
1 lb. country sausage & drippings
    1 Tlb. Sage
    2-4 cups chicken broth
Cube bread and air dry (overnight). Or use unseasoned, purchased, dried bread cubes. Simmer celery, and onion in butter until vegetables are just tender. Add to bread. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bread should be very moist, but not soggy. If more liquid is needed add remaining chicken broth until right consistency. If there is liquid in the bottom of the pan, more bread will need to be added. Taste mixture: if to bland add more Sage.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
    Optional:
2 celery stalks chopped but not cooked
1 sm. can of water chestnuts chopped
1 8 oz. pkg. mushrooms sliced and cooked with onions and celery.
